Air
travel:
Countries
vary in the air travel which they offer. It is
worth shopping around in
order to find out the quickest, most economical
way into the chosen destination.
South
Africa: As all the major carriers
land at Johannesburg International Airport, connections
to the reserves are quick and organized.
Usually
done via private charters or scheduled charters
which fly directly into the lodges. SAA Airlink
fly to the nearest connecting airport where you
will be met by the lodge and driven to the camp.
Rates are in ZAR.
 Botswana:
Air Botswana have the total monopoly of air transport
into their country.
The only alternative option is to hire a private
charter from a neighboring country, however this
will work out more costly and one needs to make
sure that you are aware of the costs beforehand.
Within Botswana, many of the lodges offer light
aircraft transfersto their camps, often the only
way to access these remote areas.
Rates are all US$ based.
Zambia:
Believe it or not, Zambia have moved in leaps
and bounds with regard tourism & promoting
their country as a premier wildlife Destination.

are open, with SAA, One Time & Kalula all
